Toronto Christmas Market
If you are looking for something to do with your family or loved one for a date night or even just a night out with friends you should definitely check out the Toronto Christmas Market. It runs until December 23rd so there is still plenty of time to check it out.
Hubby and I went there this past Saturday night for a date night and it was amazing. We had so much fun and it just puts you in such a great mood with Christmas everywhere! I absolutely love Christmas and we had never been before. Why? I’m not really sure actually but I am so glad we went.
There you will find rides like a carousel and a Ferris wheel. You will also find lots of adorable shops set up and amazing shops right in the Distillery District as well.
There are Restaurants where you can either dine inside or on the patio under heaters and some places even give you blankets how cute is that.
They have the beer gardens section where there are heated lamps and fire pits that you can stand or sit around and have a drink or two! 😉
Lights, lights and more lights! Who doesn’t love to look at Christmas lights?!
It was so amazing to see all the Christmas lights they had up and the Christmas tree. Oh M Gee!!! That tree was the biggest most beautiful tree I have seen. Absolutely amazing.
You can find a band that plays in the center of the market and carolers that walk around singing. Even Santa is there that you can take pictures with. He will even have pictures done with your dogs.
Admission into the Toronto Christmas Market is free during the week and a $6.00 charge during the weekend starting at 5 P.M on Friday and children under 2 are free. You can purchase same day tickets at the venue or you can purchase tickets ahead of time online to avoid any line ups at the gate.
so, if you are looking for something fun to do this holiday season or to get some Christmas shopping in then you should check out the Toronto Christmas Market.
I must say though if you don’t like the big crowds and long waits at restaurants, then you should visit during the week when it is off peak times. The weekends are very busy.
I would like to go back during the day and during the week. To check it out without all the crowds just to see the difference. Could be another date night idea or this time we will bring Little and Sweets and they can have their Santa pictures taken! 😉
I hope you enjoyed this post. If you did please give it a share.
I hope that you get a chance to see the Toronto Christmas Market this year as well.
