I love that Christmas smell. That smell when you walk into some place and it smells like freshly baked cookies, the pine from the Christmas trees and all the cinnamon and and nutmeg you could dream of. Oh how I love the holidays so much and everything that goes along with it, even the craziness.
And in true Christmas spirit you should have a hand soap that smells like Christmas right? It only seems right seeing as they have scents for summer, fall, Halloween and everything in-between!
I have been meaning to try and make a foaming hand soap for a bit now because hubby and Sweets prefer foaming soaps.
I found the recipe for this one in the Essential Oil Make & Takes by Jen O’Sullivan. It is a great book if you are looking to start making your own products.
What you will need for your DIY Holiday Foaming Hand Soap
3/4 cup of distilled water
2 tablespoons of Liquid Castile Soap
1/4 tablespoon of Sweet Almond Oil
10 drops of Christmas Spirit Essential Oil
Add all your ingredients into your soap dispenser, shake up and you are ready to use!
Easy peasy right? It’s so simple to make and will take you no time at all. I left my soap dispenser clear but if you are really crafty you could even make cute holiday labels for them!
You will find that you may have to give the bottle a little shake before using, as the oils will settle to the top.
This is the perfect Christmas foam soap for your home!
